Home — Welcome!
The Western Canada Irish Dancing Teacher’s Association encompasses the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. We are a group of registered teachers (TCRG) and adjudicators (ADCRG), who are members of An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelacha, the governing body of Irish Dancing, as well as the IDTANA (Irish Dancing Teachers Association of North America).
The WCIDTA is responsible for the administration and regulation of Irish Dancing in this region, and its members meet regularly to ensure the quality of competitive Irish dancing standards and regulations in Western Canada.
In order to participate in Irish Dancing competitions, you must be under the tutelage of a WCIDTA teacher. A complete listing of all schools is available by following the Find a Teacher link.
